Preserve Botanica is an agro-processing company situated in George, South Africa. We manufacture specialised botanical preparations from hops, honeybush and blue berries grown in our beautiful Garden Route District in the Southern Cape.
We collect, preserve and process different parts from plants in order to complement and retain all natural occurring compounds. We elect to carefully retain and extract all possible molecules without interference with the balanced relationship of the constituents of the whole plant. This process entails preservation of the green state of the plant material as well as critical evaluation of any processes post-harvest that might impact the quality of our end products.
Adapting extracts for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic and food and beverage use impact profoundly on the extract value and potentially revitalize and optimize quality for the mutual benefit of each industry.
We endeavour to protect the inherent affinities and finer balances mostly destroyed by modern processing methods by controlling the environmental conditions during preservation and processing. Every step of manufacturing is custom designed according to the unique plant characteristics and end use requirements.
